VR with the Oculus Go and Ocean Rift

This term in class, we have been looking at 'More than rain goes down the drain', a Geography unit about litter pollution and how marine creatures are affected. Today, and later this week, students have been given the opportunity to swim with a variety of marine creatures using Oculus Go and Ocean Rift. The app is quite realistic and students are able to listen to information about each creature and explore their habitat.

Heather Galler style Marine Creatures

In Geography we have been studying 'More than rain goes down the drain', a unit of work that shows the problem of litter, especially plastic, and the affect on marine creatures. To go along with this work we created these wonderful arts works of marine creatures in the style of Heather Galler.

Art Dispaly 10 Second Origami Fish

We need to create many of these or other marine creatures for our art display. They need to be quite small, so using paper that is around 12cm² or smaller is best.
